Howdy Steve
Cheers for reaching out to u.s.a.. I'chiliad and then sorry you are facing issues!
My proper noun is Margarida, I'm an Independent Advisor.
That is a server sent message, and so nearly probable the consequence is with your email server provider and not with outlook.
I have done some inquiry and it seems that is a recurring issue with Optus email account. Is that your case? If and so, I would recommend to achieve out to their support.

Hi Margarida,
Thanks for your response - I appreciate the fourth dimension you have taken to wait into this issue.
I had read those links prior to posting my question however they do not resolve the issue. I also contacted Optus support who advised it is non a server outcome equally it doesn't happen when using webmail or phone... only when using Outlook. The message as well only appears in Outlook - if information technology was sent past the server I would also see information technology on phone/webmail.
Hope that additional information helps to narrow down the issue.
Best regards,
Steve

Its not an OL generated msg per se, the msg is a response to the server (receiver) rejecting the mail. Its an anti spam process from that server
Unlike things are in play in OL compared to web post and phone
PS
Optus support would be enlightened of the above, but are choosing to ignore information technology - its their anti-spam measures causeing the problem

Palcouk,
Thank yous for that information. What would Outlook exist doing differently to the telephone (I don't have bug with it)? If I can narrow information technology downwards more maybe Optus support will be more than useful.
Many thanks,
Steve

No issues at home over wifi.
Too using e-mail on my phone, no bug
Its only when I hot spot from my telephone ( Aldi ) to outlook on lap peak I have the issue.
Then I don't think its optus, I did a conversation with them and got nowhere.

Hello Chris,
Thanks for your respond. I was already using the same log in for the outgoing server but as you've constitute that isn't the full solution. It turns out that in reality that message should never be seen by an finish user and as that is odd in itself (also an internet search for that error simply returns queries from Optus customers). I take had detailed discussions with senior Optus staff who have accustomed that information technology is an Optus issue... but no one has withal been able to work out the cause of the issue.
My solution in the cease was to stop using the Optus server to ship emails. I have reconfigured Outlook to send using the gmail server by logging in with my gmail account (as opposed to the incoming server login). Gmail will allow this every bit long as you make the selection possible within your google account - it is a procedure but worth doing).
During my enquiry I establish that the Optus e-mail system does come up upwards with errors more oftentimes than any other mail servers and the long term solution will be to end using my optus email... which is frustrating equally I take had it for fifteen years. In the concurrently my work around take been faultless and I will continue to apply it.
Promise that too helps you and anyone else who encounters this effect.
All-time regards,
Steve
